Call for Nominations Now Open for First Annual CDH User Awards, Recognizing Outstanding Deployments of the World's Most Widely Deployed Distribution of Apache Hadoop and Related Open Source Projects
PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 18, 2013) - Cloudera, the leader in enterprise analytic data management powered by Apache Hadoop™, today unveiled the Data Impact Awards: a new program designed to honor innovative use cases for CDH (Cloudera's Distribution Including Apache Hadoop). The awards will recognize end user organizations for exemplary deployments of CDH that are solving critical business challenges and will celebrate the innovative applications of Hadoop that are driving major advancements across industry verticals.
The Data Impact Awards, presented by Cloudera, will recognize achievements of CDH users in five categories:
- Business Impact
- Social Impact
- Community Contribution(s)
- Pervasive User Adoption
- Integration with Existing IT
Nominations Now Open
Nominations are now open to any organization that leverages CDH in a production environment. Cloudera Connect partners and other vendor organizations are also encouraged to nominate their customers. There is no cost to enter.
