Hi Nicole, unfortunately we don’t have a great nut-free substitution for the almond flour. This one took a lot of testing and troubleshooting. You could experiment with a seed meal (raw sunflower or pumpkin seeds ground in a blender), or possibly a lesser amount of cassava flour, but we can’t guarantee success.

Sorry that happened, Monica! These are more flat than a traditional hamburger bun (gluten-free is tricky!), but if yours were more flat than the photos, we wonder what type of psyllium you were using and if it mixed in well?
